Earlier this week, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross announced that the team would have a new logo and that it would be revealed prior to April’s NFL Draft. Ross simply stated “It’s time for an update.”
The Dolphins made a few steps toward improvement in the 2012 season under first year head coach Joe Philbin and rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The Dolphins posted a 7-9 season after going 6-10 in 2011.
If this is the actual new Dolphins logo, they’ve seemingly adopted the same style that the Miami Marlins have moved towards.
