The Meat Locker Locker Takes In The PGA Championship

Over the weekend, we got lucky enough to score some sweet passes to the third round of the 2012 PGA Championship on Kiawah Island. We even managed to get on SportsCenter after being in the background of Adam Scott’s chip-in on No. 5 of the Ocean Course.

The course was incredible and the field was equally as impressive. After Tiger Woods made a charge in the first and second round, it was safe to say that the wheels fell off early in the third round. After a less than impressive shot out of the bunker, Tiger did not hold back on his choice of words, dropping a few F-bombs. So, he was pretty much the same pouty baby that we’ve all grown accustomed to seeing on TV, in real life.

The highlight of the day was standing 10 feet away from Adam Scott as he holed his bunker shot on No. 5 and made the SportsCenter top plays. Being at the tournament with a couple of buddies we laughed and mentioned the fact that if that shot made SportsCenter we had to be in the background. Yes sir, we were… Check it out!

It was a real blast being able to check out the tournament and seeing some quality golf played in person. Quality golf that was played especially by winner, Rory McIlroy. McIlroy won the tournament convincingly at -13 under par. Below are some shots we were able to get out at the tournament. We had to be careful because there was literally “Mobile Device Enforcers” walking around the tournament like the secret service, confiscating phones and handing out warnings like it was going out of style.
