Aaron Rodgers And Edith Basking In A Little "Me" Time
Filmed in the offseason for Associated Bank, Aaron Rodgers is enjoying a commercial shoot with his “mature” co-star “Edith.” Not only is Edith clueless on who Aaron Rodgers is, Rodgers accepts it and creates some great outtakes during the shoot. Now that Peyton Manning has disappered from our T.V’s, Aaron Rodgers seems poised to take over as the next NFL funny man.
Here’s your first look at the introduction of two new signature celebrations from the 2012 NFL season into Madden 2013. Tim Tebow has made “Tebowing” arguably the most over-done social media celebration since we were all force-fed everybody’s “planking” efforts, via Facebook and Twitter. If you participated in this madness, shame on you. The next celebration comes from Victor Cruz of the New York Giants and his famous endzone celebration salsa dance. Only a couple more months before the faithful Tebow followers can insert their God-like, mediocre NFL quarterback into the starting lineup, over Mark Sanchez.
As usual, with any Chael Sonnen post that we put on The Meat Locker, any commentary would serve no justice. Instead, we simply ask that you just take in the hilarity of Chael Sonnen. The guy cannot be stumped. Should you ever find yourself in a war-of-words with Sonnen, you have to wonder if you’d endure more psychological damage from a verbal standoff rather than what you would in the octagon with him.
Scruggs, a redshirt junior, has shown little promise during his career with the Gamecocks. He was set to compete for playing time against a flurry of new talent coming in at the wide receiver position. Coming out of Jacksonville, FL, Scruggs was an intriguing recruit for the Gamecocks. His big frame at 6’2” and 225 pounds, combined with his speed, could have provided a new dimension to the Gamecock offense. In 2010, Scruggs would register the only three receptions of his career for 53 yards. In 2011, Scruggs was often seen on the field but would not register a single reception.
Baker, a redshirt junior, has been haunted by injuries throughout his entire career. Chances of playing time have virtually disappeared as Marcus Lattimore is scheduled to return to the lead back role and backup running back Kenny Miles will officially return to the Gamecocks in 2012, as will Shon Carson. In Lattimore’s absence, freshman running back Brandon Wilds filled in nicely rushing for 486 yards. With the addition of the highly touted Mike Davis, the running back position for the Gamecocks has officially turned into a logjam. For his career, Baker rushed 53 times for 216 yards.
Not only did the email for tailgate renewals land in the inbox today, but so did this little gem. Here is the newest installment of the “It’s Great To Be A Gamecock” series. It’s a little different from last years, but none the less, it still gets you pumped up and ready for kickoff in 101 days. (Notice the new “Countdown To Gamecock Football on our sidebar.)
The annual NFL Rookie Premiere took place over the weekend at the Rose Bowl in California, revealing some of the NFL’s top picks from April’s draft. Here’s your first look at some of your teams prized draft picks as they run around in their respective uniforms for the first time. This clip explains the importance of the Rookie Premiere and what all is involved in this exciting weekend.
Happy Friday everybody! This video brings us “Generation Xers” back to a time when everything was simple and we didn’t have a care in the world. A time when Nickelodeon was famous for its ridiculously funny shows (at the time, but when you look back at them now, you wonder what the hell you were thinking.) One of those classics was…
